The Iowa State University Veterinarian was the official publication of the Iowa State University Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Publication began in 1938 as The Veterinary Student. In 1950 it was renamed The Iowa State College Veterinarian, and from 1959 until 2001, when publication ceased, it was known as The Iowa State University Veterinarian. The journal was the first veterinary student publication in the country covering research of the Veterinary Research Institute and of the Veterinary School departments, case reports from the Clinic, and student, faculty and alumni news. One hundred seventy-three issues in 63 volumes were published during its run.

Sketch is a literary journal edited and published by Iowa State University students, that encourages all Iowa State students, regardless of year or major to submit works of artistic expression, written or visual. The journal began in 1934, featuring juried works by student writers and artists, and continues to the present, with one to three issues produced each academic year. Noteworthy Iowans, Ted Kooser, former United States Poet Laureate, and Tom Harkin, United States Senator from Iowa, have each had works published in Sketch during their undergraduate years.

This collection was digitized from archival materials held by Iowa State University Library Special Collections.

Addressing the Crisis is an open source journal that takes inspiration from the work of sociologist Stuart Hall. We are now accepting submissions for Volume 2 of the journal with a publication date of August 2021. This issue will focus on the following theme: Politics, Prosperity, and Peril: Pandemic Conjunctures. The Annual Undergraduate Research Conference on International Economics has been established to honor Lawrence M. Jepson's vision to understand the importance of global interrelationships. A selection of papers presented in the conference and other conferences are published in the open access journal The Proceedings of the Jepson Undergraduate Conference on International Economics. The conference is sponsored by the Lawrence M. Jepson Endowment and the Department of Economics at the University of Northern Iowa.

This year's conference, which was scheduled for April 17, 2020, was canceled due to the COVID-19 situation. Selected papers submitted for the 2020 conference were published in Volume 2 (2020).
